| The Château of Cassaigne is located in the heart of the Gascony country, within the département of the Gers (32), near big cities like Toulouse, Bordeaux, Agen, Pau... Only a couple of kilometers from the Landaise coast, the Basque coutry and the Pyrenees. |

Built in 1247 by Montassin de Goalard, abbot of Condom, the Château became afterwards, the coutry residence of the bishops of Condom. During de the French revolution (1789), the château became national property. It was then bought by the bishops intendant. His actual descendants are still the owners. This magnificient property, open to visits, is an historical site in Gascony. Surrounded by more than 30 hectares of vineyard, il is also the home of Armagnac. |
